It is one of the best places to visit in Maldives. You read it right, there’s a beach in Maldives which actually glows in night. What is this phenomenon? The glowing effect is caused by the bioluminescent plankton which often appears in warm coastal waters. As the waves break on the shore or when you step in the water bare feet, you witness the magical glow which leaves you plain mesmerized. The best time to see the phenomenon is between June and October.
